Saint Clare's maintains accredited laboratories at its Denville, Dover and Sussex hospital campuses. Our hospital-based locations provide in-house services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All hospital locations, plus an additional walk-in location located at 16 Pocono Road in Denville, provide outpatient services. We employ licensed phlebotomists who are experienced in obtaining blood or body fluid specimens. Licensed laboratory technicians perform the diagnostic testing that has been ordered by your physician.

Our laboratory has sophisticated equipment that can provide accurate and rapid test results in order to aid your physician in assessing your health. The laboratory also has an adequate blood supply in its blood bank of those blood types that might be needed for transfusion therapy. Laboratory staff members are not permitted to divulge or interpret any laboratory results; only the patient's physician can do that.
