are grown, or growing up, and your parents are over the age of 65, you
may be experiencing the challenges of the “sandwich generation.”
Health education sessions will be focused around entering this new phase
of your life (40-60).
Local retail vendors and local healthcare providers will be present at
tables throughout the day, including Urban Muse and various hospital department

- Meryl Hayton will offer relaxing yoga techniques that will calm your mind,
keep your body fit and teach you easy yoga techniques you can do at home.
Weight and Women: Innovations in Weight Loss
- Aram Jawed, MD will discuss the weight challenges women face as they get
older and how the years of dieting, as well as hormonal changes, have
affected our metabolism, and he will discuss the treatment options that
are available, including surgical weight loss. Liz Silverthorne, Registered
Dietician will also be present to discuss nutrition.
Our Changing Bodies – It’s not Puberty! It’s Menopause
- And our bodies are changing again! Patricia Dreyfuss, MD, obstetrics and
gynecology will discuss what happens to our hormones as we enter the phase
in our life, the changes our body is going through, the symptoms, how
to diagnosis where you are in this phase of your life and the treatments
that may make this change a little easier.
