Free Women’s Health Event
Women are invited to enjoy a morning that is all about women! If children
are grown, or growing up, and your parents are over the age of 65, you
may be experiencing the challenges of the “sandwich generation.”
Health education sessions will be focused around entering this new phase
of your life (40-60).
Local retail vendors and local healthcare providers will be present at
tables throughout the day, including Urban Muse and various hospital department

- Motria Ukrainskyj, MD, medical director of Saint Clare’s Breast Surgical
program will discuss breast health during and after menopause, our family
history factors, hormone effects on breast health, the latest in diagnosing
breast cancer and the surgical and non-surgical treatments of breast cancer.
Rediscovering You (**SESSION FULL**)
- Professionals from Saint Clare’s Behavioral Health will discuss the
strategies to help you address the changes occurring in your life: Physical,
children leaving or about to leave, taking care of aging parents, and
the many other changes that come with this phase of our lives.
Menopause and the Effects on Your Heart
- A women’s heart health changes dramatically in the perimenopause
and menopause. Dr. Rhuna Shen, MD, Saint Clare’s Health will discuss
the reasons for an increase in heart disease, the effects of hormonal
changes on the heart and how our heart health changes after this phase
of our life.
