Children’s Adolescent Partial Hospitalization
Providing services to children and adolescents aged 12 to 17 with psychiatric
diagnosis utilizing daily intensive, therapeutic intervention which does
not require inpatient hospitalization. Services are provided by a multidisciplinary
team of psychiatrists, psychologist, social workers, behavioral health
nurses and behavioral health counselors.
The Child/Adolescent Partial Hospital Program is a short-term program serving
adolescents, aged 12 to 17 years, in need of an intensive, highly structured
therapy program to help them and their families manage a serious behavioral,
emotional, or psychiatric crisis. This program is designed to either prevent
admission to an inpatient facility, or to transition young people recently
discharged from psychiatric inpatient units back into their schools, community
and family. The program is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m., and is staffed by board certified psychologists, clinicians,
behavioral health counselors and an Advanced Practice Nurse.
The Child/Adolescent Partial Hospital Program frequently accommodates young
people who are transitioning back to their schools or communities with
Intensive Outpatient Program hours after they have completed their Partial
Hospital Program. These individuals may attend the program for three hours
per day, up to five days a week.
