The Center for Cancer Care
The Center for Cancer Care at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital is
accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We
combine cutting-edge technology with the expertise of our compassionate
staff in a community hospital setting to keep you close to home when it
matters most. An exciting addition to our team in 2018 is Dr. Noah Goldman,
a gynecologic oncologist. Dr. Goldman is also an educator, with academic
appointments, including The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York University
School of Medicine, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and Columbia University.
We look forward to being able to treat women with gynecologic cancer in
our comprehensive, supportive healing environment.
Our multidisciplinary team of experts includes medical oncologists, radiation
oncologists, a gynecologic oncologist, interventional radiologists, surgical
oncologists, pathologists, nurses, nutritionists, rehabilitation therapists,
radiation therapists, and licensed social workers who collaborate to provide
a custom, comprehensive treatment plan for every patient and family.
We offer seamless screening, diagnoses, treatment, surgical intervention,
and recovery services in one convenient location.
We understand no two patients are alike, which is why our multidisciplinary
expert panel meets weekly to review each case and treatment plan.
Our team works collaboratively to ensure each person’s cancer care
strategy is tailored to their needs and lifestyle.
Screening and Diagnostics
Detecting cancer in its early, more treatable stages is key. Saint Clare’s
Health is equipped with a full suite of state-of-the-art imaging technology
to ensure rapid diagnosis and assessment of cancers affecting the breast,
head and neck, chest (lung), thyroid, abdomen, pelvis, colorectal, digestive,
and urologic, and reproductive organs.
Advanced imaging technology provides physicians with critical information
on tumor location, position, staging, and treatment response.

a source of fear and anxiety. Our oncology patient navigators are available
to help and support you through the cancer treatment process, whether

or connecting you to resources at the Center for Cancer Care or in your
community. Your patient navigator is your direct point of contact and
go-to person for any question or need you may have.
If surgery is part of your treatment plan, our modern, spacious surgical
suites are equipped with the latest technology and amenities. Where possible,
we will perform your operation using minimally invasive techniques, including
robotic surgery, which can lead to better outcomes, less time in the hospital,
fewer complications, and a faster return to your daily routine.
Using advanced equipment, our radiation oncologists are able to safely
and precisely target tumors, while sparing healthy tissue. Our radiation
